Wondering about interest and possibility for a tourney to go down before thanksgiving break, or even during. I talked to tony and he said it would be possible on tuesday after school sometime as he would be leaving soon after. That is the only person I have talked to. We can get details worked out later but I was thinking three stock, five minutes, neutral stage, round or single-elim style. Comments? I'll start a list of participants for all to reference and for my own information. Thanks and here's hoping.

Ah, good idea. Something to kick off the nice weekend. Question. Held at school? or hosted at someone's place? for that, I will require a time. Without it...it's a auto no.
This won't be tourney mode, right? I would perfer double elim, so it makes the matches versatile. Neutral stages. Perfectly good with that.
Just a time and place. and I'll be all set to go. Btw, are you tracking down stats, and all that stuff?
Well if it's happening. Hope to see lots of people. I have yet to face you, Sir Burt. Shall we do a friendly before it starts?

We need to set up a location, I forgot to say Tony had brought up his house, mine would work well too. I'm just trying to gauge response just now. Any time would work. Not at school, I don't think. Too tight. I would say like three thirty or so? That work?

I am open for both of these. Many people on this website live close to Tony and I so we can ferry a few people wherever we need to go. I could possibly also pick up Emergency. (I'll find your house. I have a GPS) I'll start talking to people and see what they think.

I think I'll pose the question to my parents as to whether or not it would be acceptable to host a tournament at our house on Tuesday soonish, so here's to a hopeful yes! TheOgbot

Thank you, Tony. Hopefully it will work out. If not we can have it at my house, albeit it being at far distance off. Just keep me updated and I'll do what I can.

we need to figure out who and whether this will work soon. There are other people who have some committments that would interfere. So Tony's or my house, three to three thirty start time. If nothing else we decide how we will structure the tourney itself at the tourney itself. I'd say at least like, seven or eight people for it to work?

No matter how many people come tourney mode will work. In my opinion, Have set random stages to neutral. Just playing FD is just playing one stage. Maybe we can try some variations? If we try double emlination and have the losers and winners brackets? I can keep track on a piece of paper. I am just trying to suggest different things. For more variety. I asked to confirm. and I am 99.5 % positive that I can go.

Well, I'm looking at the time, I'm thinking I can go too. If you want, and only want, I might have a cousin who plays Zelda/Sheik that wants to come. ^.^

*nods* I'd like to see how good bens gotten, you always talk about how good he is, but I still havn't seen him in a while. And, will we have some kind of pot, or is it a free, fun tourney?

I would bring my cousins, Shiro and MR? but they sort of live in Bloomington. The more the merrier. A pot? Sure. Why not. Maybe not as pricey as a real money match. But maybe for entertainment purposes?

You can do whatever the host says is reasonable. Not everyone will want to pay, however, and people might be reduced to betting on which person in each tournament wins.

I am opposed to a pot. If we want to we can do two tourneys one with and one without. I just think it's more fun to play for fun. If we all agree to a pot then we can have it, but otherwise it;s just more fun to do without money.
