I don't think you got what i said. I knew playing at PnT wasn't doing anything but getting me money. Your thinking were scared of playing good people, were not, we are busy. (for proof i played MELEE singles at SDC's I'll do it again too). I've also gone to MN-held tournies too, I still went to PnT.
I know my knowledge of the game as well and what i need to work on.
I also wen't to PnT to talk to people. A lot of ppl i knew went there weekly, it was social as well as money making. Even if one of these was on the same date as a PnT tourny I'd go to this tourny. (pending on parents).
Just because you didn't like PnT tournies doesn't mean you should just bash on them a ton. We didn't even bring up PnT until you brought yourself to it.
Also while making your statements please don't call me an idiot in them. Also don't call everyone pussies on MN smash either.

Alright, that wasn't cool on my part. I'm sorry.
To put what I meant to say in a level headed manner, you're not going to be catching on to anything else that's wrong with your game if you're not playing people like we do at the state tourneys. I know my knowledge as well as you do, and you know that, but I still learned much more playing those guys yesterday than I ever would with friendlies against everyone in the area. Our local metagame is stagnant and has mostly scrubby or decent players, everyone at that tourney was damn good (minus a few but that's beside the point.) I didn't mean to call you stupid with that (intentionally), but I meant that you are learning much more while actually experiencing stuff instead of theorizing and trying to figure stuff out against a skill level under what you're shooting for. If you truly want to become better, you have to play with the best and not settle for less.
I don't know about you guys, but I found PnT detrimental to my growth in Brawl. If you don't feel the same way, good for you.

Yeah, the only reason I went to Play N Trade was to be with my friends there. For me it was never about the tournement.
I wish they would start it up again because it was really easy to get there. Not like Minneapolis, or even Zephron's house because I really don't like driving on the Freeway. Especially merging.
Maybe I should go over to Play N Trade and see if they'll start it up again.

Wonder if I'll bother going. Sean's tourney is 10x better, though it is infrequent.
I'll think about it. Also, you should've posted this in the Fail N' Trade topic, not this.

I'm never stepping through those doors again.
Maybe I'll go to get some money for BB and a 360. That's the only reason I would.
But fail is still fail. A successful fail is still a fail.
