Real tournies aren't as easy to go to as pnt. Tony you don't go to a lot of real tournies either you can't really say how great they are. I recognize it though. You guys evangelize easy money, I evangelize a higher level of play. Once you've done something like a real tourney, PnT is garbage. Don't get butthurt over the fact you lost some cashflow.

Can we stop discussing fail and start talking about the weekly we need?
A lot of people are going to the Eden Prairie tourney on August 1st. Maybe we can ask the guy there to make it a biweekly or something.

I'm pretty sure we've been to the same (low) amount of real tournies Og. You may have one more since I'm gone during the school year.
I do like money. I'd give up smash tournaments for a million dollars easy.
But on subject. I've offered to have people over this next week (small groups like 3-4) to practice for the tourney. Nobody has said what day they are open. Also, I've said that numerous people can come over next Sunday as well but no one has said anything.
If you'd like to practice with me. Everday after 4:30 I'm open to smash.

As soon as im able to get a decent sized TV for my basement, i could easily host a tournement at my house every few weeks. for right now that seems at least a month or two in the future though.

We might have to start hosting a tournament every week in someone else's house. I do have 3 decent sized televisions in my house, and my living room has a decent amount of space if we move the couch. I would have to convince my parents if I wanted to host it here though. But I would prefer to go to a store hosted tournament every week. Anyone know about any tournaments that aren't that far away that are at least weekly?

Good news guys. My mother actually suggested for me to host weeklies here when I told her PnT was going gone.
I was @_@ for like 10 mins because she usually isn't like that.
Anyway... yeah I'm open like every Friday, so it could be a weekly if you guys wanted to drive all the way over here. (Eden Prairie)
But you guys probably live really far away. Though I've been going to the PnT's even though it takes me 30 mins to arrive
My basement is big, though I have only 1 setup and two TV's. If someone brought a TV with them and a couple people brought setups it could work..
I'm not telling you guys to do it over at my place. I'm just saying it's now an option. More options = nice.

Cool.
16065 Sheldon Avenue Eden Prairie, MN, 55344
Bring 1 more setup, and however many extra TV's and setups you want.
My basement is big, but it isn't that huge... You guys will be cramped if there are 14+ people. I could possibly make some room though so there is a 16 max.
As for food, bring your own if you want it. We live next to lots of fast food places so you can just pick it up.

Without the time I may show up at 9:00AM while you are still asleep or I may arrive at midnight. I'll probably bring chips or something. I'll assume you have dip of your own. (Maybe I should bring salsa too? Depends on how I feel about it).
