Pikachu got a few new toys to play with in the shift from Melee to Brawl. It got all the good things of Pichu while getting a massive eletrical boost, and it learned the force. Pikachu is now playing for the dark side, and will show no mercy. Don't be fooled by its cute looks, it's actually quite lethal.
A: This is your jab. Hold down the A button for a rapid fire headbutt attack.
F-tilt: Pikachu kicks. Pretty weak, but as soon as someone escpaes the headbutt you can go to this quickly to hit them
D-tilt: a tail swipe. Pikachu can crawl along the ground now, but that doesn't help this attack any.
U-tilt: Pikachu swings his tail up. It was a similar range to his U-smash, so U-tilt into U-smash might be a good idea.
F-smash: A sign of Pikachu's natural lightning powers crossed with force lightning. Beware.
D-smash: Pikachu turns into a wheel of electricity, zapping people many times before launching them. One of your best smashes.
U-smash: It can kill people up, but it's short range and you have some lag after you use it.
N-air: Pikachu spins. It's pretty weak.
U-air: Comes out quick and you can hit your opponent with this many times. Pikachu is also a juggler now.
F-air: Pikachu rotates and zaps foes. It protects you well, but it's pretty weak.
B-air: The UFO of doom! Pikachu spins like a frisbee and damage foes.
D-air: I don't know if this can spike or not, but it's your most powerful aerial. (At least when you look at damage.)
B: the thunder jolt. It bounces along the ground and can be used in the air.
Side-B: Pikachu charges up and flies sideways. Massive knockback and damage. You can also recover with it.
Up-B: You dash twice and can shift the direction up to 36 degrees (or something like that. It's between 30 and 45) Really fast, and Pikachu is hard to hit.
Down-B: Thunder+Force Lightning=awesome. More power than last game, and much faster. This should be used whenever the opponent is above you. Try not to get hit by the opponent while you are waiting for the thunder to come.
Dash attack: It's a headbutt. Nothing special here.
Throws: I think B-throw is the best. Gets you most distance for your throw.
You would have thought that something so loved by children could go so bad?
