I'll keep you all posted EDIT: I've decided. I bet you will never guess EDIT2: I'll keep this open for discussion. EDIT3: It wasn't really on a whim. I've been testing other characters as well. Some that were on the chopping block were... Sheik Mario PT Marth Olimar Ness Peach Yoshi and the best of them all.... CAPTAIN FALCON!!! I decided DK though due to his awesomeness. He is, after all, the better Kong

You know I'm going to have to play you with all my good characters for me to confirm that DK is your new main. That's like me switching to maining Peach or Kirby.

DK. Donkey Kong. He's the leader of the bunch, you know him well. He's finally back, to kick some tail....
YA DK. I'm going to have to have a DK vs DK match with u now. True DK is the better Kong.

I'm not sure why you have such a fetish for these heavy characters, but at least they place well on the tier list. I fear what you can do with many characters, and Donkey Kong suprises me, but I expect something great and terrible to come out of this. A dire prediction of destruction and death at the hands of this murderous monkey. I proceeed to ponder if I should even get up tomorrow morning and watch the world's final day. You heard it here first. We are DOOMED and our skulls will be worn around the monkey's neck. (Or, you know, he'll use them as bongo drums.)

Heavy's just feel right in my hands. Fast feels way to quick and thin, but heavies feel absolutely perfect for me.

Oh well, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. I'm saving my new weapon for later.

It seems that Ogbot and I play characters that both feel good in our hands, and I suppose it could work to find other characters with similar abilities.
Consider myself; I like characters that are relatively balanced, have pretty good side-to-side aerial mobility, and carry a projectile of some sort. Now looking at Wolf he easily fits this description, but not many of the other characters I like playing. With light characters I feel too weak, and heavy characters I feel too awkward waiting for my attack to connect. With characters with little side-to-side mobility (Meta Knight...he doesn't move side-to-side well) I feel restriceted. I like having the option of a projectile to use at a range when I feel I can't get in close, but too many projectiles and I feel it takes up too much of the moveset.
Which brings me to why I play some characters who don't fit into any of these categories. Marth has no projectile, yet I play him for the extended reach of his sword and aerial power. Toon Link has too(n) many projectiles, but I play him because of aerial mobility and flexibility. I play Game and Watch, a glass cannon in my hands with failure dodging ability and low weight, because of air power and smash power. Olimar fills out the the list by bringing amazing range into play with the downside of recovery problems when I have no Pikmin with me.
It seems that each person has a fundamental play style, something augmented by the characters of Brawl. It shows why someone could be awesome with one character (or certain typoes of characters) and yet fail so badly with others. I think that when searching for mains in the future one should try many characters, and finding a play style that suits how you want to Brawl and which characters support that style best. Or, you know, just pick one randomly or based solely on tier position, but hey, it's your choice, not mine.
