Alright guys, here's an idea I just had.
We'll have people sign up to be mentors for our Brawl Mentoring Program.
We'll have people that aren't mentoring choose a first, second and third pick of mentor.
We'll randomly select who will get which mentor.
People with lower skill levels will meet up once a week with people of higher skill levels.
Mentors will help their "student" with a main choice and development of that main (Anything goes, mentors are responsible for learning stuff about that main.)
A higher playing level will be achieved for the PLS area.
Interested?
PS: Mentors have the right to turn down certain students in the random generation of students.
Mentors TheOgbot Fomortiis colonelsideburns emergency mobius7 smartidiot banishedshadow
Students Nick Rolston theoustin kugutsuhime Nejilove Elaina Lordan (El) Snuffalu
I know that we did poorly at Beezo, but an opportunity like this will instill better playing in our area as well as an increased knowledge of characters that we might have never bothered to figure out.
I hope some people are as optimistic about this as I am.

I'll be the summer school teacher for brawl if this mentor thing is still going on. So starting in May (I get home the first week) I will be able to mentor people. I can always give advice though anytime.

I am still bummed about Beezo. I did horribly.

You placed the best out of all of us.
You don't need a teacher honestly, you just need experience.

Oh. I didn't see that. We still both won the same number of matches. The guys you lost to did better than the ones I lost to.

Lol. Yeah we did. But we'll be back next time around. We should try to go to the Biweeklies every once and a while.
But now we are learning. We know about how good they are, we just need to learn yes. Neo got 4th so we could like smash with him too.

O.o I'm thinking I'd like you to mentor, so I'll let you decide. Kevin, you're mentoring too. You are able to apply knowledge really well even without needing the experience of testing it out. I'll make sure your student has a wii.
