Oh wow, you guys got creamed.... Anyways back to the point, I think the mentoring program is a great idea. Yet do you really have to meet EVERY week? O.o I'm thinking I'd like you to mentor, so I'll let you decide. Kevin, you're mentoring too. You are able to apply knowledge really well even without needing the experience of testing it out. I'll make sure your student has a wii. Me!? A mentor? I may be good, but not as good as you think. I'm more of a student.

A student to who. Your one of the better guys on this forum. You can play on the level of the guys at the Beezo tournament just as well as Emergency, Ogbot, Formortis and myself.
For us to find mentoring, we would have to seek out the MNsmash boards, because (hate to brag) we're the best in the PLS area.
Mac out. (JK on the hating to brag part)
edit: lol at the mentors all being Azn so far. I'm pumped for summer schooling. I'll be the smash bros phy. ed teacher who teaches pain.

You're also pretty ace at spacing. You're good, but your modesty should end here.

I'm willing to mentor anyone who would have me. I'm by no means the prodigy of brawl but I've got things to teach people that they can use and build upon themselves. Even if I just give them a higher level of comfort, they can take that and escalate their own game. Count me in. Just keep me updated of who I'd be working with and when.
haha. one more none asian.

Thank you Alex, we're getting quite a few mentors.
I say 10 mentors, then we're done.

For there to be 10 mentors there needs to be at least 10 students. Does anyone actually even want to be a student?

I would want more students then actually. I am pretty sure we can't have more mentors then students. I would rather be a substitute mentor. For my lack of resources.

I KNOW I'm not good enough to be a mentor, but there's not really much I could be taught just because of my "play the way I want." style.

If you don't want to get serious about playing well, then fine.
Consider yourself excluded.

Also, if you would stop talking to me like I'm an idiot, I would appreciate it. He never said you were an idiot. You said: I KNOW I'm not good enough to be a mentor, but there's not really much I could be taught just because of my "play the way I want." style. and that pretty much says you won't be learning anything because you are choosing not to learn anything, so we are excluding you because you want to be excluded. Tony is also a little annoyed that you had the arrogance to even post that. If you don't want to be taught, then don't sign up when we ask for students. It's out of place to say that in this thread, which is asking for mentors, and stops Tony from keeping the thread open to mentor discussion and/or convincing people to be mentors. Next time send you angry responses through PM because nobody likes to see (read, I suppose) you act this way. Edit: I agree with you deleting the other post. (directed at whomever did it.
