THat was really interesting. I am a little frustrated to know that the application of no air resistance (which makes sense for a game) resulting in a point of NO horizontal momentum bothers me. I suppose the concept of launch resistance could include a sense of air resistance, after all, actually. And calculating momentum down to a minimal fraction value would be more difficult than just reducing it to a zero value. Considering the small space anyway the value reaching nonexistence only comes into play rarely, at least so as to make a true difference in life or death. Porky's or Hyrule would really be the only places where a small amount more horizontal momentum would change a match. Well I've effectively proven myself wrong. This thread is worthwhile. l)
