Hey! I'm just listening to Chapter 19 of Huck Finn on audio right now.....so I'm wondering, does audio work for you or does reading the book work for you?^^

Read the book. Seriously. Reading it is much better than listening. (Or so I find.) Hearing it spoken gives it a fixed "tempo" that your brain must keep up with to rationalize and comprehend what one is reading. If you didn't understand somehting, you need to rewind the tape and keep listening until you reach the same part again. It is also much easier to read faster than someone can speak to you. (Jared Sinkula is a testament to this, he walks into Prevention and Care of Injuries with a different book every day and reads about half of that book in class, if not more.)
In short, reading is faster than listening. It is also in my opinion that it is more enjoyable.

Interesting. Yeah, when it comes to reading the book I have to re-read something several times in order to get what someone is saying or what is going on. Though, what I found is listening to the audio I get it the first time and don't have rewind it. Then there was one of my friends' on crunchyroll, they suggested reading along while listening to the audio. Not sure if I should try it though.
