Amen! ;D I agree with Stephen King. The Twilight series is a poorly written series.

I agree completely with King. Twilight is an overrated, obsessed over and poorly written excuse for a book series. I am SO tired of this vampire fixation everyone seems to have. I mean, they're cool but generally overrated. Besides, aliens are much more terrifying and they might actually EXIST.

Holy crap! Barthalow was my 7th grade English teacher....she liked me.^^;; Yeah back in 1st tri I had to give a speech on a novel written by an American author. I chose Thirsty by M.T. Anderson, Thirsty is very good vampire novel. Well my AGD was a question, "Who here has read Twilight or heard of it?". A few hands went up, then I stated, "Well the book I read makes Twilight seem amateur and mediocre." I was afraid, Ms Meuwissen was going to fail my speech for saying that. Thank goodness she didn't.^^;; Instead, she gave me a 96%(Though I think it was out of pity).

I wish I knew how to read. ........How do you even make intelligent posts? How are your posts even on topic? How do you log in? How can you use a computer? Go read Bram Stroker's "Dracula" all of you who read Twilight. That is what a vampire is supposed to be: an undead monster that is crazy powerful.

Twilight... is not a good book at all, no offense to anyone who likes the series. Bella is just some helpless girl who can do nothing but complain and ask for help. All the guys in the book are extremely handsome and tall. It's basically a fantasy fulfillment book for the author and female readers alike.
Seriously though, Edward had no reason to even look at Bella. Why does he even like her? What was the point of Jacob Black being in this book if he had basically no role whatsoever? The book was poorly written, horrible plot, and unrealistic characters.
Twilight and the others, which I don't even care about, have no right to exist...

Now completely bashing it is disrespectful.
Does it really have no merits whatsoever?
If so, I stand corrected.
I myself liked it because it read like a story, not an epic novel or anything of that sort.
