Man she's one tough character to learn. Normally I use Cammy, but I can't use Cammy on any Arcade cabinet, so I need to learn C. Viper.
Her learning curve is insane. Playing as her is a lot of spacing and making sure you're hitting the right buttons.

Who else plays SF4 besides you and me? I think you're preaching to the heathans who just don't care about SF4. We need to have a session in SF4 soon BTW. Tell me when. You know who this is.

Playing as her is a lot of spacing and making sure you're hitting the right buttons. Otherwise I win with Gen. I don't own the game, but it's lots of fun to play (even though I am up against Og). I think your problem is not just the spacing, it's also not getting hit so much. There were many times where I was able to sneak in hits before you would use your moves, or I would crouch underneath your aerial kick thing and jump and kick you out of whatever you were doing. I was able to win with hyper-offense, and using a little more shielding or the focus moves may help with that super armor (or however it is known in Street Fighter) and knocking your opponent to the ground.

C. Viper has one of the lowest HP counts in the game being at 900hp, and her defensive stat is the lowest meaning she'll take a lot of chip damage while blocking. Her speed, and attack power are among the highest though. C. Viper's game is strictly offense, not allowing the opponent to do much. If you play defensively, she will get beat. Zangief can kill her in 3.5 heavy piledrivers. Playing keep away is a good stratagey. Opponents that can spam a projectile are her bane because of her lack of range, however, her super jump can quickly close the distance. Trying to win with her seismic slam move (623 P) won't work if your opponent knows anything about C. Viper. Any tech-jump move such as Vega's 3 HK will tech over it and it will be a counter, and then Vega can Ex his Flying Barcelona Attack into an Izuna drop for mad damage (I plan on doing this to you).
If you're going to main Cammy and C. Viper, prepare to always be on the offensive 'cause that's what you're going to have to rely on.

She has her LP TK and F + MP to deal with projectile spammers. I tend to only use SH when people least expect it. I cause a lot of pressure with TK and FK along with some FA comboing. I'm still working on FADC, but I think I'll improve a bunch more when I get a fight stick for the 360.

You sure LP TK dodges projectiles? I don't think it avoids Hadoukens and Kikoukens. It avoids Sagats High Tiger Shot and Guile's Sonic Boom, but unless it has the same properties as Chun-Li's CMP it's not going to dodge the Shoto projectiles.
I've used her F-MP to avoid a predictable grab, but not a projectile, so your probably right since you play her more than me.
I play: Ryu Chun-Li Rose and a little Vega and Abel
Fight me soon. We both need practice.

LP TK takes mad timing, but F + MP hops right over it.

I watched some videos last night and practiced as well. You're right, her F-MP goes over basically any projectile except Sagat's High TS. It even goes over Dahlsim and Ryu's Ultra if timed properly, and E. Honda's Headbutt thingy. Her LP TK goes under, but you do have to have sick timing for that.
Give me a day to have a session next week, cause this will be my last until I start working 7am-4pm every week day.
