Hey guys, since our metagame is different than most professional metagames, we should make our own tier list. We should go with the amount of people that use characters. I think we should discuss before we actually make a list  Oh and btw, I think Kirby will be at the top. UPDATE Updated - mrgnc. What're you talking about? Wolf on top! We actually have TWO people who main Wolf on these boards. We don't have many who main top tier...do we? Oh, right, we have a Snake. A lot of characters are actually going to fall to the wayside because few peopl know how to use them or aren't interested. I'm interested to see Sonic, I personally think he sucks.

Right now from our member base: 2 Wolf 1 Snake 1 Ice Climbers 1 Samus 1 Bowser 1 Ike 1 Diddy Kong 1 Ganondorf 1 Fox 1 Lucario 1 Marth Right now we have a fairly widespread metagame with Wolf at the forefront. Quoting the great StarWolf while modifying it a tad, "Can't let you do that Wolf O'Donnell"  |

ROB is a good opponent when people know how to use him. Mainly because he never dies. At the very least he annoys people. I think ROB is potent, but we need someone special to give him that boost.

My assesment of our local metagame:
Kirby is a dominant force. Many people play him, and he always seems to show up when you go to a tournament. Know how to deal with this boy.
Wolf: Our Wolf players are predictable, but they adapt to your play, so be unpredictable and stop him from doing anything.
Bowser: predictably unpredictable. Watch Bowser players play a match before you fight them because you probably haven't fought many good ones.
Marth: We've got a few hanging around. Be careful in your approach, many like standing back and reacting to your moves.
ROB: Watch his range. You can beat him close, so get in for some close combat.
Pikachu: Aparently Snuff has gone to the dark side and plays Pikachu along with Tommy. Great. Anyway, side-b and down-b hurt. Don't be in a line parallel to the stage with him or perpendicular to the stage with him. His range is kind of short, so take advantage of that.
Ice Climbers: Mind your spacing. Don't let him grab you. Otherwise, split them and don't let them unite.
Jigglypuff: You'll see one. Stop its rollout attack, and sheild grab when you can. It doesn't take much to send puff to her doom.
Diddy Kong: Sheild grab. This guy also likes to play hit and run, so as soon as he gets close, wail on him with a high priority move. You can wave throw banana peels if you feel like it.
King Dedede: He can't stand up to repeated quick attacks. Punish his lag at every opurtunity and you will win.
That's my first metagame analysis. I"ll update eventually.

wow that pretty much sums it up. So right about the Wolfe Players though.
Watch out from J- Puff. Shielding rollout won't work to well. Its like baseball. If it hits the shield twice the third time your out. (thnx to shields getting smaller and Jiggles height.)

I haven't played a Lucas in a long time. I am in no position to acurately comment on how he is doing in our metagame.
