Post things you think are scary or that others think are scary. Please be specific. For example, this: screen1112name.xanga.com/

Post things. Please be specific. You're doing a good job of that already This thing was retarded and I dont use that word often, unlike most people. The best piece of dialog was the: "I thought that must be why you came here. I mean no offense, a woman hiker, all alone." and other notable parts were the constant: "I saw it on T.V." and the rescuers saying either "30 meters" or "fiber scope" Worst piece of drawing in awhile for my eyes and a horrible dialog to boot. Also, the lack of any reason WHY they want to go into the hole is amazing and is never even slightly explained. At best you get a dream about the dude being a criminal and being punished by going into the hole. So is the hole meant to be a testiment to their sins? They seem innocent to me so i dont think that's it. At best you could say that they are curious, like that dude with the weird face (first one to enter). But that doesn't explain the chick's outburst of "i have to enter the hole" "im going to die in the hole." And the holes never "speak" to them. At best you see the people saying "the hole is tellign me to enter" or w/e. LOL at all the close up side glances why didn't anybody enter that thing BACKWARDS. And if you can't go forward, then obviously you can go backwards because you really shouldn't be able to go forward in the first place due to friction if the shapes are so specific that you could say that they are you're shape. You do know that bones can't stretch right? Is this thing trying to say that the people are decendents of criminals? And if so, why wouldn't the criminals just go in 4 feet, stay there, and come back out? What's the worse that happens? Knifed to death? Beat up? They know they'll die in the whole, why not just die faster? About the decendants idea: if the society is weird enough to dig holes (how did they dig the weird shaped ones towards the end?!) to kill people rather than say, kill them, wouldn't they be so extreme as to kill all the offspring/spouses of the criminals to eliminate the behavior? So how did they get decendants?

I suppose the real fear of that comic is just the claustrophobia aspect, of actually being trapped in that hole, and forced to either stay there or go forward.
BAMM is right, bones can't stretch. And you would've died of starvation anyway <__< Though humans can get various body parts to get longer by slowly adding weight, or pressure outwards. But eventually the bones would stop it.
The fact they "wanted" to go into that hole is bogus. Plus, if I EVER had that second dream, (or even the first one, really) I would've ditched the girl and ran away from that place ASAP. Let those other idiots die <__<
Back to the topic though, guys. Post other scary stuffz. Or creepy. Like Kspam's avatar.

It was more "what the heck?" than "creepy". The lack of explaining anything (why go into the hole?) or having bad explanations really ruined it.

After rereading that manga again, it still makes no sense and still isn't scary. Though I did spot a flaw in it; how could the rescue worker get out of the hole and yet that Naka guy couldn't get out? In the manga they state you can only go forward, not backwards. I also think after rereading it Yoshida is yandere. For anyone who doesn't know what yandere means, it means "cute but psycho". Also there's something that's been on my mind since reading it twice, what crimes did these characters commit that caused the holes to "draw them in"?

They said nothing of the sort but maybe the criminals somehow got out of the hole, or they were supposed to reach the end or something, and now they have this curse or something that makes them pushed to enter and finish the trial.
They could've gone anywhere with this... but they Zephailed.

That hole wasn't meant for the rescue worker, it already claimed it's prey. Also, did you see the way he went in? They also went in because they were just drawn to them. Personal curiosity and possible unnamed crimes could be the motive behind going in.

I read this and slept fine. I also don't understand how they can only go in, also. Are they only able to go down because of gravity? That's the only reason I can think of because otherwise you would be able to go back. The picture of the exit of the caves was a little overdone, I think. To much squigilly extensioness for me to be happy.

A obscure anime known as Baccano! gives us a good bit of this kind of stuff. Where do I begin... 1. The immortals that star in this series. Why? They obtained immortality by summoning a demon. Not that scary, right? This demon follows all the immortals, no matter where they go, watching them for the rest of time. Then again, that depends on your interpretation of the series. Secondly, immortals can eat other immortals. No, I'm not talking about with a fork and knife. All that is required for one immortal to eat the other is for them to stick their right hand on another immortal's head and think, "I want to eat." After that, the unlucky immortal being eaten has all their bodily tissue sucked out them and into the other's hand. Bones cracking, sinew snapping, tissue being ripped apart as it is compressed and squeezed through their skull. Leaving nothing behind. And they are aware of every last bit of pain while this happens. Think about this. You don't know if another person is immortal and they could just walk right up to you and end you before you even knew what had happened. And it isn't just an immortal being a barbarian, so you're not safe if you think only psychos would. They gain every memory and piece of knowledge from the other immortal, meaning they have every reason and motivation to do this. 2. Rail Tracer. Dear god, Rail Tracer. An urban legend involving a monster who appears on trains after someone mentions the legend. It then proceeds to kill everyone aboard the train in a gruesome fashion. Of course the story is bunkus. That, however, doesn't stop our resident psycho assassin, Vino, from going around killing people in horrendous ways with his bare hands, including grinding their faces on the railroad tracks, then wiping their blood all over himself and pretending to be Rail Tracer. He then proceeds to go ahead and kill just about everyone anyway for teh lulz. Oh yeah, and he brutally tortures a child by biting off his fingers (he was an immortal though) and has an enormous god complex. 3. Ladd Russo in general. He is yet another assassin who throughly enjoys killing people, even more so than Vino. He never shuts up, even while he's killing you, wears an insane slasher smile at all times, killed a man by punching his face in, shot a little boy he did not know was an immortal in the face with a shotgun, wants to kill his fiancee (which he often tells her in a sweet, tender tone) who actually wants to be killed by him, and he is impeccably skilled in the fine art of overkill. Bloody, bloody overkill. Oh, and lest I forget: i7.photobucket.com/albums/y271/Green09/Screencaps/Baccano/vlcsnap-2017181.pngI can guarantee you will never want to travel on a train ever again! Sleep well!

lucky star is scary guyz!!!! i think konata is trying to kill me and i keep having nightmares where Tsukasa and Kagami are the kids in the hallway in "The Shining" On a serious note: kspam, watch Elfen Lied. It's a good anime (and I mean, really good anime) and it's got gore (lots of it), which apparently freaks you out no matter what. So I imagine you'll just go to a corner and remain in the fetal position all day. Have fun I can guarantee you will never want to travel on a train ever again! i lol'd
