This is the thread where you can rate/bash/worship/critique/ give feedback to everyone else's mains, and also seek help to get better. Try to avoid comments, like "get a new main" and do not bash the character's flaws, just the player's, but try to keep it constructive. Don't critique someone's main if they haven't asked to be critiqued, and only talk about your ONE main. Not seconds and other charatcers that you like to play.
So since I made this thread, why don't we start with discussing my Peach, and then the rest of you can join in after. What do I do well? What can I fix? What should I do more/less of?

The few times I've played Peach recently, I've noticed you get incredibly predictable with your SHed dair. I can anticipate it pretty consistently about a stock in or so, or maybe a minute, give or take. I don't know what to totally tell you as far as alternative approach with the same setup to reduce predictability, but that is one thing I noticed about your peach.

If you know Peach, Dair or Turnips are her best only ways to approach. I can Dair out of float, SH, and FJ (full jump) to start various combos. The Dair shield pokes enough, and has a distorted hitbox and the priority to still be effective even when it's expected to come. And if she's high enough, you can't shield grab her either. It's a pretty safe move, and is her best combo starter other than a well thrown turnip.
Thanks for the feedback though.
Hey mods, I'm requesting that if this thread gets popular, to make sub boards for organization, sorta like how we did with our pokemon teams.

I doubt we need like 40 sub boards. Then we could just move the topic over to the character discussion.
Critiquing my main is of course appreciated.
As for you, Mac, I suggest being a little bit more defensive. You tend to be a bit too offensive sometimes and it hurts you. Against most characters, Peach can be a pretty good hit and run camper.

I guess I was more getting at the fact that the most common way for me to start any combo or chain on you was anticipating any Dair and exploiting it for a fair amount of damage.

Kspam: I've been telling you to roll less for a while now. Also, don't always go for the ledge when you recover. You've been ledge hogged for that dumb habit many times losing you the match. And use Kirby's air game more. Don't use that roll -> f-smash psuedo combo for everything.
Emrgncy: Did you know that we haven't fought one on one in Brawl all summer except fot that one Diddy v R.O.B. match at PnT? So, I can't really help you out since we haven't fought at all since about early Spring.
Zephron: Advice taken.

Emergency: More camping, be a lot more safe with your gyro, as people can pick them up and use against you, and as long as 1 is on field you cannot make another. Go offstage more often: your recovery is so good, jump up up-b, nair or fair can finish some people not as fortunate as yourself. Test your opponent with d-smash, if you notice they can't di out of the final hit, go crazy. If they can, use it less and mostly as a gtfo move.
I hope that helps. No i don't want to be critiqued.

Is Peach's bair really ineffective now? That was a wonderful approach in the Melee days, but sadly that's where all of my Peach info comes from, and she's been changed drastically. Nair could be used similarly in the way Neo uses his to approach too (possibly) I think you're just keeping yourself on a one track playstyle. Mix it up? If people can flowchart your approaches, you're going to be punished. Any critique on my Kirby? Any criticism welcome. Mac hit it on the nose, watch your ledge grabbing tendencies on recovery. Kirby has way too many moves that makes recovering really safe, and to make it all or nothing with your Up B is gimping you way too much. Also mix it up, your playing is pretty flowcharty. *Uncle from Jackie Chan Adventure's Voice* One more thing, don't rely on Kirbycide, that's only one avenue of killing for you out of the many Kirby has. He's higher in tiers due to the fact he has so many options. One final thing, work on mindgames. Your game will improve a lot once you get a good understanding of mindgames and how they work. Try Melee if you want a crash course. Get a Wii lol. I'm willing to take critiques too, but considering the knowledge that all of you possess on Yoshi (See: None or not enough), I'm afraid that won't be as great as it could be. All help is appreciated though

Nair could be used similarly in the way Neo uses his to approach too (possibly) I think you're just keeping yourself on a one track playstyle. Mix it up? If people can flowchart your approaches, you're going to be punished. Peach's Bair is a killing move or atleast has a good amount of knockback and isn't a big combo move anymore. Nair can be used to appraoch, but it's usually paired with a turnip to catch and hit at the same time. Nair falls into the glide toss category of my approaches.
I've mention using spaced Fairs before, but if you want predictable, that's the move to spam. It's got slow start up but it's also got some sick range (a little more than Marth's Fair).
And punishing my approach? What can punish her glide toss effectively? You're either going to catch it and then get hit by Peach herself, or shield it then I catch it as I hit you with nair or fair and throw it again, or just get hit.
Remember there are so many ways Peach approach with turnips too, so just becuase a turnip is in 70% of my approaches doesn't mean that you know when it's gonna fly to your face.
But anyway, if I work on her defensive game, I'll be approaching less, and punishing more.
I need to play your Yoshi again before I can say anything.Yes. You need to do this. It's been over a year now that you've wanted a Wii. I don't know your financial situation, but if you've not been able to save $200 in longer than a year, something you're doing in the realm of money is wrong. Arn't you 16 or something? Get a job, or mow some lawns, or do something to make money. If you had gone to more PnT tournies, and won, you'd have enough store credit to buy two Wiis. That's my critique of your main.

Umm For yoshi.... Oh yea More egg toss.
I tried Yoshi out (just like everyone else) I read a guide, guide stated that one of the reasons Yoshi isn't lower is because of the egg toss. When i have fought your yoshi i have seen little to no use of egg toss (beyond recovery) d-smash is decent since you can use it to get the person off of you. I've also read down-b can be used besides grabbing the edge. If you can find a significant use for it besides grabbing ledges that would be nice.
For hollaway: Protect your pieces. Samus worked hard and long with her powersuit, its only right to keep them nice and killing in your hands. Try to make them last as long as possible. If pieces are in the air then they do not dissapear as fast. The time for item dissapearing only happens while items are on the ground, so try to keep them in the air unless you are busy. Use paralyser, it is good for spacing and leads to a grab/jab. dash attack-up tilt, combo racks up dmg good at low to mid percents. Dash attack-anything racks up dmg, try different combinations of tilts and use different ones.
Mac: In my opinion you either want to keep your fair or bair un-stale for killing then use the other for dmg racking. And yes moar defense unless someone can outcamp you (Falco, R.O.B. Snake) Once at high percents really don't do offensive. You die easily, turnip more, reatreating glide toss more. or else you will die. And last but not least, do not use peach against snake.
Oh ya k-spam. You do not need to use your up-b to get on stage, you can just jump into the ledge or onto the stage. More bair, Learn to jab cancel into your grabs. Even more bair Last but not least. DO NOT DESPERATLY GO FOR THAT GONZO COMBO Missing with a grab sucks. the other person is just gonna rack up dmg on you, and most times they can kill you early. And it is pretty obvious right at the beginning that your going to grab, so people will not shield as much. Another reason jab canceling is even more important as jab-cancel grab can lead to a nice gonzo. But once again DON'T LOOK DESPERATE. People read that like a book. O ya....more bair.
That is all.
