Haha TheOgbot approves of this new thread title XD Emergency and I are both anti PnT tourneys now, I had a bad experience on my return to those tourneys. I'm working again now, so I probably won't be making it to these anymore (not that I would go anyway )

Well, after reading the posts from above, I guess it is a good thing I was too depressed to bother with the rounds/brackets/whatever else they're called. Okay moving onward and upward, here are the stats for 5/15/09. Winners of the Week1st Place: Zero 2nd Place: Kspam 3rd Place: Krow how much did first win?

To everyone who hates pnt: Yes, the rules are stupid (I myself became the victim of so many of these "rules" [Freaking suicide-ban]) and Yes, the wired control and 2 stock only sucks but hey, the one thing everyone can agree on is that it is free money towards video games and a weekly source of competition instead of every other month.

There was 11 people there. My guess that first got...20ish? Maybe?
KSPAM, My reply to your comment.
IN MY OPINION, I would rather play people of a higher competitive level, I do care about the money a tad, but I do enjoy playing matches against people who can actually punch you back, rather than just kicking a sandbag. I've won my shares at PnT, and I still don't know what to buy. I would rather get my money in cash, so I could buy other stuff, or support a small need of sorts. Play and Trade yes, has it's right to hold tourneys with their rules, to regulate their store. It's because of the people who can't play on a huge "Above average" player. It's because of them that fuels the store, which I do respect in some sorts. But I would highly prefer to play people who are better. Just for the sake of fun. The people who don't go to the Play and Trade place anymore, they understood how much different the gameplay is. There is a HUGE difference between a real tourney / fest, then PnT. All the people who are defending their spots can only proclaim a simple statement in "EZ money". But, there is a reverse comment I would like to implement, game wise, you aren't getting any better. Money wise. You buy video games. If someone like BAMM didn't show up , to start giving mini tutor lessons on what to do and what not to do, would people consider themselves the best? Everyone has their preferences I guess. I respect all opinions .

...Well damn, it looks like you might be right. Well, I suppose that does make sense, considering my recent halt in advancement. Besides, I do despise not being able to kirbycide. That and most of the time, pnt is a practical hive of scrubs and casual players who do not know anything about competitive play, which never ceases to irk me (seriously, remember that mk player who was acting like he was tough crap but ended up getting his butt handed to him and accidentally boser-cided? Man, he was one irritating little SOB). Well, how often do you host/attend these tourneys? I'm definitely interested in attending but I haven't had the good fortune to attend these last few.

It's just my opinion of course.
I think everyone is just trying to find a place to host it. Anywhere but Play and Trade.
And then things start rolling from there.

I don't keep track of people's winnings because I see more of the winner's personal business. Though if you must absolutely know how much they won, go ask them yourself. Sorry if I sound a little bit rude.^^;;

1st: $25 2nd. 20. 3rd 10.
Yes fourth was pulse, he fought Torvik for third.
My opinion: PnT=Easy money. I buy a lot of games so winning PnT just supports my limited money standards. I haven't payed full price for any game/system in a long time. I don't get satisfied winning there unless i play like BAMM, Nelson or K-spam, but then again its FD, Falco's disputed best stage (Japes maybe too). It is absolutly nothing like a competitive seen, there is no FREAKIN COUNTERPICKING, seriously i would CP Zelda against k-spam everytime, and go to smashville or something. I can live with 2 lives though unless fighting a person who knows how to gimp falco that 1 extra stock doesn't matter.
I partially agree with Kevin on PnT sucking a bit, but i like the store cred i get. The name change takes it a bit to far though -_-

I enjoy the PnT tournies, I just use them to test a new character (like when I won with Lucario), or just for entertainment. It is a free source of gamer money as well. I've won clear over $200 at PnT, but it seems that Kspam is taking that title away from me. Oh, well.
DO REMEMBER THAT AFTER PnT TOURNAMENTS, I WILL ALWAYS HAVE PEOPLE OVER THAT WANT TO SMASH WHEATHER THEY WENT TO THE TOURNAMENT OR NOT. PLEASE NO ONE WHO SUX!
(This stands, unless I say otherwise)

Yeah, it pretty much comes down to us all the time. Which is both good and bad although I am not looking forward to facing Torvik's ICs.

Fear and Terror at PnT? lol
Try Neo, BAMM or Near. They are the "real" fear and terror.
